In all honesty, I applied for the job, has some great references and my boss liked me. I then did a lot of research, which I continue doing today, and have independenly studied sexuality ever since. My advice is to do as much work related to the field as possible, even volunteer work. No, especially* volunteer work. Check out Planned Parenthood or local free clinics for experience and constantly pursue education. :)
